Job Description
A dynamic sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers across various industries, involving building relationships, managing complex sales processes, and closing deals to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential mid-sized customers to expand the sales pipeline
- Engage with prospects through cold calling and build relationships with stakeholders
- Learn and understand customer businesses to tailor sales approaches
- Manage the sales process including conducting proof of concepts, managing trials, and negotiating pricing
- Close new deals with annual revenue greater than $10,000
- Collaborate with team members and continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 CAD in annual revenue.
- Must be located in Canada.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
- Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce.com).
