Job Description
This role involves engaging mid-sized customers to sell IoT solutions that improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries, through full-cycle sales activities including prospecting, managing trials, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on strategic account mapping and outbound prospecting
- Manage customer engagements from prospecting and qualification to closing deals
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders to remove deal blockers
- Build genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term success
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 in annual revenue.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Demonstrated ability to learn about businesses where prior knowledge is limited.
- Ability to build genuine relationships with customers and earn their trust.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
- Willingness to put in the work required to learn about new industries and businesses.
- Ability to work on strategic account mapping and outbound prospecting.
- Experience managing customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to closing deals.
- Ability to collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders to remove deal blockers.
- Willingness to adopt a growth mindset and be collaborative with teammates in the selling process.
- Ability to focus on customer success and build for the long term.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and share best practices.
