Job Description

This role involves selling Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers, managing complex sales processes, building relationships, and driving digital transformation in industries such as transportation, agriculture, and manufacturing to improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect mid-sized customers through research and cold calling
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to understand their business needs
  • Manage and execute full sales cycle, including conducting POCs, managing trials, and negotiating pricing
  • Close new deals with revenue larger than $10,000 annually
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, to facilitate sales
  • Learn and understand the industries and businesses of potential customers to tailor sales approaches

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 in annual revenue.
  • Must be located in Canada.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce) or similar CRM tools.
