Job Description
A sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers, involving building relationships, managing trials, and closing deals to help industries improve safety, efficiency, and operations through sensor data and connected technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new mid-sized customers through research and cold calling
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to earn trust
- Manage the sales process including conducting POCs, managing trials, and negotiating pricing
- Engage with multiple stakeholders and sell to executives and CXOs
- Learn and understand the businesses and industries of customers to tailor solutions
- Close new deals with a value greater than $10,000 in annual revenue
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 CAD in annual revenue.
- Must be located in Canada.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
