Job Description

The Implementation Consultant at Samsara is responsible for deploying IoT solutions for large-scale customers, managing project plans, conducting solution workshops, guiding change management, and ensuring successful system implementation to help clients improve their operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the deployment of Samsara technology for large-scale customers to ensure quick time to value
  • Lead project management activities including creating project plans, RAID logs, and governance meetings
  • Conduct solution workshops to develop business process workflows
  • Guide customers through change management processes, including policy development, communication, and training
  • Run training sessions and demonstrate Samsara's technology to various stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Sales Engineering, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior implementation consultant, project manager, or management consulting role.
  • Experience supporting or working with technical products for at least 2 years.
  • Experience running on-site workshops with over 10 stakeholders for at least 2 years.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to follow methodologies.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving project management skills.
  • Excellent consultative skills with experience in end-to-end system implementations.
  • Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, Product and Engineering senior management, and day-to-day users of the software.
  • Ability to support or lead the deployment of enterprise SaaS and hardware solutions.
  • Ability to support or lead the deployment of solutions that enable customers to achieve quick time to value.
  • Experience guiding customers through change management processes including policy, communications, and training.
  • Experience creating or implementing methodologies and frameworks for system deployment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple customer engagements in parallel and work cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Fluency in German is preferred.
  • Experience using AI or automation into Customer Success workflows to drive measurable productivity improvements is preferred.
  • Physical ability and willingness to travel to customer sites for up to 30% of the time, including overnight stays.
