Job Description

The role involves leading and coaching a sales team to drive complex sales strategies into the US market, focusing on building customer relationships, managing sales cycles, and achieving revenue targets within the IoT-enabled physical operations industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop a team of 6-8 sales managers on sales strategy, pipeline management, and achieving quarterly targets
  • Hire, onboard, and provide ongoing coaching to new managers and account executives
  • Create training content and support professional development for sales team members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term success
  • Lead and embed a high-performance, inclusive sales culture aligned with company principles
  • Manage and lead the full sales cycle into the US market, including prospecting through closing
  • Provide tactical and strategic feedback to team members to drive performance
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform sales strategies and decisions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with proven performance owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing US sales teams.
  • Currently at the Senior Manager level or above in sales management.
  • Must be in good standing with leadership and have AVP endorsement to apply.
  • Experience leading full-cycle sales into the US market.
  • Strong track record of overachievement with experience in coaching a team in outbounding.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time frames.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable with public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Self-starter and adaptable to change.
  • Continued growth mindset to learn a unique industry.
  • Proficient in making data-driven conclusions.
  • Ability to provide upward feedback.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
