Job Description

The role involves leading and managing the company's equity administration functions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic guidance for equity plans, while fostering a high-performing, inclusive team in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day administration of all equity platforms, plans, and awards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Equity professionals.
  • Build and scale processes, systems, and controls to support compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the company's equity plan expert, providing strategic guidance to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Support equity and cap table reporting, including SEC disclosures and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain and optimize equity systems accuracy and ownership of platforms like Schwab Equiview and Computershare.
  • Provide equity data, analysis, and insights for compensation strategies and executive reporting.
  • Manage employee equity education, communications, and engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulations regarding equity awards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain scalable record-keeping, reporting, reconciliation, and audit processes.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability of equity operations.
  • Lead global education efforts related to equity compensation and financial wellness initiatives.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing team aligned with company culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in equity administration, including 5 years managing and leading teams.
  • Deep technical knowledge of equity compensation vehicles ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, PSUs, ESPP and accounting under ASC 718.
  • Extensive experience supporting SEC reporting, IRS requirements, audits, SOX compliance, and foreign equity compliance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a growth mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Schwab and Computershare platforms.
  • Experience supporting SEC disclosures including Forms 3, 4, 5, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements.
  • Partner with Legal and Accounting to support equity and cap table reporting, including 83 b elections and SEC disclosures.
  • Maintain and optimize equity systems accuracy, including ownership of Schwab Equiview and Computershare platforms.
  • Own the day-to-day administration of all equity platforms, plans, and awards, including grants, vesting, sales, and ESPP activity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Equity professionals.
  • Build and scale processes, systems, and controls to support a global, publicly traded company, including compliance with SEC, IRS, audit, SOX, and foreign equity requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with U.S. and international regulations regarding income, tax withholding, securities, and reporting for stock awards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain scalable processes ensuring equity data accuracy, including record-keeping, reporting, reconciliation, and audits.
  • Drive automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability across equity operations.
  • Lead global education efforts related to equity compensation, including financial wellness initiatives, plan design changes, and understanding of equity value and plan terms.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment passionate about professional development, setting standards, and providing Tier 1 support.
  • Deliver outstanding service to internal collaborators by addressing inquiries from management, partners, and employees with responsiveness and integrity.

Annual Base Salary range of $133,560 to $190,800 USD
