Job Description

A Customer Success Associate at Samsara works closely with top clients to optimize their use of IoT platform solutions, ensuring improved safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations through strategic guidance, relationship management, and technical understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer success by increasing safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations using the IoT platform
  • Develop and execute joint success plans with customers, outlining objectives, metrics, and timelines
  • Conduct executive business reviews to assess past successes and align on future goals
  • Facilitate workshops to analyze current operations and recommend workflow improvements
  • Deeply understand and explain the capabilities of the Samsara platform to various types of businesses
  • Mentor and support the Customer Success and Support teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Advocate for customer needs and ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Customer Success, account management, or strategic consulting role.
  • Enterprise SaaS experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Previous hands-on experience assisting or working with technical products.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, Product and Engineering leadership, and day-to-day users of software.
  • Passion for going above and beyond the call of duty, taking initiative, and thriving in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • Strong priority management and high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong bias for action, the ability to think big, with insistence on high standards.
  • Experience serving and partnering with large-scale business solutions at Fortune 500 companies.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced, and change-heavy environment.
