Job Description
An Associate Product Manager at Samsara participates in a structured training program to gain hands-on experience managing IoT-based products, working across different product areas, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new features that enhance operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in formal training programs to learn core product management skills
- Gather customer and stakeholder feedback through beta programs
- Manage the end-to-end launch of new features and measure their success
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams to develop new features
- Manage a small product roadmap and lead feature development
- Support the scaling of products and contribute to the company's growth initiatives
Requirements
- A minimum of a 3.5 GPA.
- Experience building a product, a startup, an application, a nonprofit or equivalent as a founding member or co-founder.
- Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical discipline, with the degree to be completed by the time of joining Samsara, targeting Spring 2026.
- Prior evidence of strong intellectual curiosity and leadership skills.
- Gleaning insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Bias-for-action and willingness to get hands dirty to help the team and impact customers.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
