Job Description
A dynamic sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers across various industries, involving building relationships, managing complex sales processes, and closing deals to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Samsara's business by bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers.
- Conduct research to identify potential customers and expand the sales pipeline.
- Engage with customers through cold calling, meetings, and relationship building.
- Learn and understand customers' business operations to tailor solutions effectively.
- Manage and close complex sales deals ranging from $20,000 to $100,000.
- Conduct proof of concepts (POCs), manage trials, and negotiate pricing with multiple stakeholders.
- Develop genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 USD in annual revenue.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
