Job Description
A dynamic sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers across various industries, involving building relationships, managing complex sales processes, and closing deals to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Samsara's business by selling IoT solutions to mid-sized customers.
- Conduct research to identify and prospect potential clients and expand the sales pipeline.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, to manage trials and negotiations.
- Learn and understand customers' business operations to tailor solutions effectively.
- Develop and maintain genuine relationships with customers to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Close new deals ranging from $20,000 to $100,000, including managing POCs and pricing negotiations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 USD in annual revenue.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
- Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce.com).
