Job Description
This role involves selling Samsara's IoT solutions to small to medium-sized customers, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, and building long-term relationships to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing deals.
- Generate sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
- Target small to medium-sized accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
- Handle high-volume transactional sales processes.
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust.
- Learn and understand the businesses and industries of potential clients.
- Achieve sales quotas and contribute to team goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a closing sales role.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales environments.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
- Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce) or similar CRM tools.
- Ability to handle and own a transactional sales process with high volume demands.
- Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
- Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
- Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads from the account development team.
