Job Description
The Account Development Representative at Samsara is responsible for generating leads, engaging prospective customers through outbound calls, and supporting the sales team to drive adoption of Samsara's IoT solutions across various industries, with opportunities for career growth in enterprise technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for leads, map enterprise accounts, and build demand for Samsara's products
- Qualify leads and distribute them to sales representatives
- Execute outbound campaigns to engage potential customers and generate new leads
- Identify and map organizational structures to locate key decision-makers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product-focused marketing campaigns
Requirements
- Ability and willingness to make 50 cold calls a day.
- At least 3 months of sales experience and or sales prospecting ability, which can include sales-related coursework, sales competitions, etc.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year Bachelor’s degree program.
- Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and embed AI usage into day-to-day operations.
