Job Description

The Account Development Representative at Samsara is responsible for generating leads, building demand, and supporting the company's go-to-market strategy through outbound calls and account mapping, with opportunities for career growth in SaaS sales within a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt for leads and identify potential enterprise customers.
  • Map and analyze enterprise accounts to develop targeted outreach strategies.
  • Build demand for Samsara's product offerings through outreach and engagement with prospects.

Requirements

  • High level of interest in the IoT space
  • Excitement around growing a sales career
  • Comfortability in a dynamic, customer facing environment
  • Previous cold calling experience
  • Motivation to be in a goal-oriented, quota-carrying role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with a high degree of clarity and professionalism in English both verbally and in writing to build rapport and effectively resolve inquiries for our US customer base
  • Average of 80 calls to prospective customers daily
  • Innate curiosity in how businesses work, with the ability to learn about different industries such as waste management and food distribution centers
  • Resilience to handle rejection and continue making calls
  • High school diploma or equivalent (implied as minimum educational requirement)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid position based in the Mexico City office (implying legal right to work in Mexico and ability to work at the specified location)
