Job Description

A customer-centric Application Engineer role focused on designing and supporting zero-carbon industrial heat solutions using Rondo's innovative heat battery technology, involving technical analysis, project development, and collaboration with clients and internal teams to promote sustainable energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and own technical discussions with customers and external partners to identify opportunities and define project requirements.
Conduct site evaluations, process integrations, techno-economic simulations, and feasibility studies to assess project viability.
Develop customized system configurations to generate customer value based on specific client needs.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Energy Markets teams to perform product analyses, market studies, and technical evaluations.
Provide technical support during customer presentations and meetings to communicate solutions' benefits and value.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related role such as Applications Engineering, industrial processes involving heat, or energy systems analysis.
An education background in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
Basic proficiency in coding with Python and Visual Basic.
Ability to operate autonomously and self-direct toward the highest priority tasks.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Outstanding presentation and oratory skills.
Ability to connect and build trust with a wide variety of customers or potential customers.
Ability to travel occasionally within Europe for customer or investor meetings.
