Job Description
The Market Development Manager at RES is responsible for building strategic relationships with major clients, developing tailored environmental solutions, and driving revenue growth through ecological restoration and nature-based infrastructure projects that support sustainability and ESG objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering a collaborative relationship focused on sustainability goals
- Lead the development and delivery of tailored ecological solutions to enhance ecosystems and manage stormwater
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client engagement through mitigation credits and ecological projects
- Collaborate with regulatory experts to support permitting, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Monitor and report on account performance, ensuring client satisfaction and revenue targets are met
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, representing RES at industry events
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a strategic partner with large data centers, in account management, sales, or business development, ideally with a focus on enterprise solution selling.
- Strong knowledge of environmental mitigation, ecological restoration, and nature-based infrastructure solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and client growth goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and ESG-related challenges is highly preferred.
