Job Description

The Client Solutions Manager at RES is responsible for marketing and securing ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience projects through relationship-building, strategic planning, and technical insight, ultimately helping to deliver environmental results and promote sustainable solutions in the Southeast region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market and promote integrated delivery projects related to mitigation, water quality, and resilience to prospects and clients in the Southeast region.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities by managing external relationships and leading proposal development and deal structuring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track permitting timelines, manage project components, and align resources for project pursuit and execution.
  • Represent RES at conferences, industry forums, and client meetings to build relationships and promote restoration solutions.
  • Guide internal teams on project pursuit strategies and present financial summaries to clients to facilitate deal closure.
  • Travel regionally to visit project sites, meet with regulators and clients, and participate in industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related industry, dealing with complex solutions with a multi-year sales cycle and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience assessing and managing project timelines, identifying risks, and aligning teams to meet deliverables
  • Experience interpreting financial models and communicating the financial health of deals
  • Experience with contracts and key provisions, with legal awareness in deal structuring
  • Ability to build lasting relationships and solve complex client challenges
  • Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bring in internal experts when needed
  • Ability to read the room, adapt approach, and demonstrate resilience and urgency
  • Willingness to travel regionally to visit project sites, meet with regulators and clients, and represent RES at conferences and partner events
