The Technical Writer will develop, revise, and manage technical documentation and standards across various business units, working with cross-functional teams to ensure clear, consistent, and high-quality content that supports Redwood Materials' operations and quality management system.
Key Responsibilities
Write, revise, and control standards, procedures, and training content
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and templates for standardization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex technical information into clear content
Evaluate existing content and implement improvements
Proofread and edit documentation created by team members
Coordinate with Document Control Administrators and Training Team to distribute updated documentation
Requirements
Proven experience as an effective technical writer including but not limited to creating process documentation, work instructions, procedures, and training content.
Degree in engineering, technical writing, or other relevant technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at a time.
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment without predefined standards.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation range: $86,500 - $145,000 USD
