• Own and maintain detailed bill of materials (BOM) cost models across all energy storage products, including raw materials, cells, modules, power electronics, balance of system, and packaging — ensuring accuracy, version control, and visibility across the organization
• Develop and manage should-cost models to benchmark components and subassembly pricing against market rates, supplier quotes, and internal expectations
• Identify, quantify, and drive cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain in partnership with engineering, procurement, and operations — including supplier negotiations, design-to-value opportunities, and make-vs-buy analysis
• Analyze supplier cost structures, trade terms, and logistics economics to inform sourcing strategy and mitigate supply risk
• Build financial and operational frameworks that connect procurement decisions, supplier performance, and manufacturing trade-offs to margin and unit economics outcomes
• Partner cross-functionally to inform pricing, sourcing, second-sourcing, and supply chain strategy with rigorous cost and operational analysis
• Strong supply chain, manufacturing, or operational finance backgrounds
• 5+ years of experience as a Global Supply Manager (GSM), Commodity Manager, or Sourcing Manager, or Supply Chain Program Manager OR 5+ years managing finance for a manufacturing operation, plant, or production environment
• Strong foundation in BOM cost modeling, should-cost analysis, sourcing strategy, or manufacturing economics
• Deep familiarity with supply chain cost drivers, supplier pricing dynamics, and operational trade-offs
• Exceptional Excel and modeling skills, with the ability to build bottoms-up cost analyses tied to real-world operations
• Ability to translate complex supply chain and technical inputs into clear financial insights for cross-functional and executive stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and comfort working across engineering, procurement, operations, and leadership teams
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to structure ambiguous, operationally complex problems in a fast-moving environment
• Experience in energy storage, battery systems, or other manufacturing-heavy, hardware businesses
