Job Description
The Application Development Lead is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable web-based internal tools using AWS cloud services to support government operations, leading a technical team to deliver mission-critical, compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a web-based internal tool for non-technical end users
- Lead the technical design and implementation of the application
- Guide the engineering team to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions on AWS
- Ensure development practices align with Sponsor requirements, security standards, and federal compliance frameworks
Requirements
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining web-based internal tools used by non-technical end users.
- Deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services and application development on classified Sponsor systems.
- Proven ability to lead a technical team in delivering secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
- Experience leading the technical design and implementation of applications or tools, ensuring development practices align with Sponsor requirements, security standards, and federal compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on technical leadership skills with the ability to guide engineering teams in innovative solution development.
- Demonstrated experience in application development that supports mission-critical government operations.
