Job Description

A Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist responsible for leading environmental site assessment and remediation projects for federal and state clients, providing technical guidance, managing investigations, permitting, and evaluations across various regulatory programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental site assessment and remediation projects for State and Federal clients
  • Provide senior-level management and technical guidance on environmental assessments, investigations, permitting activities, and remediation evaluations
  • Review and ensure quality of environmental assessments, investigations, and remediation strategies

Requirements

  • The candidate must have experience leading environmental site assessment and remediation projects for State and Federal clients across a range of regulatory programs, including Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA, and state Voluntary Remediation Programs (VRPs).
  • The candidate must be able to provide senior-level management, technical guidance, and review of environmental assessments, investigations, permitting activities, and remediation evaluations.
  • The candidate must have the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of several years of relevant experience in environmental engineering or science, with the specific number of years depending on the salary range for the position.
  • The candidate must possess the educational background necessary to work as an Environmental Engineer or Scientist, typically a Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • The candidate must be highly motivated and capable of working independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
  • The candidate must be able to perform technical guidance and review of environmental assessments, investigations, permitting activities, and remediation evaluations with senior-level expertise.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and team members.
  • The candidate must be able to work in a manner compliant with all applicable EEOC regulations and promote a respectful, fair, and inclusive work environment.
