Job Description
A Technical Writer responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for software products, collaborating with global teams, and supporting product development and release processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as release notes, user guides, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with global teams and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
- Support the product development lifecycle by identifying documentation needs and tracking progress.
- Drive the documentation process from creation to publishing using relevant tools.
- Verify technical content, including code samples, for clarity and accuracy.
- Support release cycles and migrate content for reuse.
- Produce user-centric, high-quality documentation within deadlines.
Requirements
- Six years of experience in technical writing for software products.
- Demonstrated experience writing documentation in CCMS Dita.
- Ability to create content for technical audiences.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and product features.
- Adaptability to evolving documentation requirements, including writing content for last-minute additions of product features and issues to release notes.
- Focus on delivering top-notch quality documents within stipulated timelines.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate documentation processes and perform quality checks (preferred).
