A Technical Program Manager responsible for leading the qualification, production ramp, and vendor onboarding of hyperscale hardware products, ensuring seamless execution and delivery in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire program lifecycle for new hardware and operational initiatives, including defining milestones, schedules, and budgets.
Collaborate with hardware design teams and external manufacturing partners to qualify, test, and ramp up volume production of hyperscale solutions.
Onboard and integrate new vendors and contract manufacturers, including conducting site audits and developing execution plans.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and engineering blockers, communicating strategies to stakeholders.
Develop and implement operational processes and tools to improve efficiency and execution quality across the supply chain and product lifecycle.
Requirements
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex technical and operational programs within a hardware or high-volume manufacturing environment.
Exceptional cross-functional program leadership skills, with the ability to effectively drive consensus, bridge communication gaps, and secure commitments from diverse engineering, operations, and external vendor teams.
Proven capability in vendor management and operational due diligence, including successful experience with new vendor onboarding, site assessments, and risk mitigation in a fast-paced setting.
Strong foundation in program management methodologies e.g., Agile, Waterfall applied to hardware and software product releases, with a consistent track record of delivering against aggressive schedules.
Highly developed communication and organizational skills to articulate complex technical issues, operational challenges, and strategic direction clearly and concisely to both technical teams and executive audiences.
Familiarity with manufacturing test engineering for high volume hardware products, with a strong point of view on the trade-offs between cost and quality.
Ability to lead and manage the entire program lifecycle for new hardware and operational initiatives, including defining milestones, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time product readiness and launch.
Experience in partnering with hardware design teams and external manufacturing partners (JDM CMs) to orchestrate and accelerate technical qualification, testing, and volume production ramp of hyperscale solutions.
Experience in onboarding and integrating new vendors and contract manufacturers, including conducting site audits, defining success metrics, and developing scalable execution plans.
Ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and engineering blockers proactively, providing clear, actionable recommendations and communicating strategy and dependencies to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Willingness and ability to work onsite at the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies.
