Job Description
The Technical Program Manager for the FlashArray team is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute software releases, manage program objectives, improve processes, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality storage solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute software releases, including developing release plans, schedules, processes, and documentation.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met and deliverables are on schedule.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software releases and technical systems.
- Drive process improvements to enhance release efficiency, quality, and time-to-market.
- Make trade-offs and timely decisions to ensure successful program delivery.
- Track, communicate, and report on program goals and progress to stakeholders.
- Resolve obstacles and teamwork issues across teams to ensure smooth program execution.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager
- MS in computer science, MBA or engineering management equivalent preferred
- Experience managing software releases with predictable and frequent cadence
- Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including investigation, design, execution, and delivering products to market on schedule, and addressing customer feedback in development
- Solid project and technical judgment with the ability to influence a growing organization
- Ownership of product experience, quality, and metrics
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end best practices in software development and release management
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups
- Ability to work in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies
