Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the technical roadmap for data protection features, ensuring alignment with enterprise RPO/RTO requirements across hybrid cloud environments.
Influence and coordinate with strategic technology partners to ensure deep integration of protection capabilities with their product roadmaps.
Analyze data protection workload characteristics and competitive landscape to maintain industry-leading recovery speed and efficiency.
Create technical enablement tools, architectural guides, and customer presentations to support sales and field engineering teams.
Oversee the full product lifecycle of data protection solutions, from inception to strategic transitions, in collaboration with executive leadership.
Requirements
Deep Data Protection Domain Expertise with expert-level understanding of the enterprise backup landscape, including hands-on experience with major applications such as Cohesity, Rubrik, Veeam, and their interaction with cloud-native storage protocols.
Strategic Technical Leadership demonstrated by a proven track record of owning product lifecycles and driving results, with the ability to navigate complex release milestones and product line transitions in an agile environment.
Full-Stack Datacenter Fluency with broad technical depth across storage solutions, networking, and security, with a specific focus on how data protection workloads impact infrastructure sizing and performance.
Executive Communication Influence with strong executive presence and the ability to synthesize complex technical data into a clear vision, strategy, and execution plan for both engineering teams and customer stakeholders.
Ability to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in an in-office environment, in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
