Job Description
A Territory Systems Engineer responsible for providing technical support, enablement, and guidance to channel partners and sales teams to drive the adoption and deployment of Pure Storage solutions in the enterprise storage market.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical coach for channel partners, providing guidance and resources to enable their Systems Engineers and drive new business.
- Collaborate with the Territory Account Executive to provide pre-sales technical support and act as a technical brand ambassador during customer engagements.
- Review and validate partner proposals, architecture, sizing, and quotes to ensure alignment with customer needs and product capabilities.
- Drive awareness and adoption of Pure Storage sales and technical tools through partner enablement activities such as training and workshops.
- Manage technical resources and escalate complex inquiries to specialized technical teams to ensure technical success.
Requirements
- Professional B2B experience in a customer-facing or pre-sales technical support role, demonstrating a solid understanding of technology sales motions and velocity selling.
- Practical familiarity with the enterprise storage market, data management, or current emerging IT infrastructure architectures such as servers, networking, and virtualization.
- Proven ability to build strong, productive relationships with both a sales counterpart (Territory Account Executive) and channel partners, with excellent communication skills to articulate technical value and coach others.
- A high degree of self-motivation, initiative, organizational skills, and resilience to quickly learn complex technical concepts and manage a high volume of concurrent partner engagements.
- Business-level fluency in both Italian and English to effectively communicate with local partners, customers, and international teams.
- Willingness and ability to work primarily from the Milan, Italy office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
