A Supply Chain Specialist responsible for managing buy-sell activities, inventory, transportation, and logistics, while analyzing data and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage buy-sell activities, including purchasing materials and selling, performing system transactions, and managing material risk
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and maintain optimal stock levels
Coordinate transportation and warehousing, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to optimize the supply chain
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and support decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is generally required.
Experience in a supply chain role for a minimum of 3-5 years.
Ability to analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues efficiently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously with attention to detail.
Familiarity with supply chain management software such as Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, Google workspace tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
