This role involves leading the development and execution of manufacturing test strategies for server and storage products, managing a team of test engineers, and collaborating across departments to ensure product quality, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and execute manufacturing test strategy and technology roadmap for server and storage products.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Test Development Engineers.
Drive the definition, planning, development, and scaling of end-to-end test solutions for new products.
Oversee technical aspects of test development and automation, including creating and reviewing test plans and documentation.
Define and track key metrics for factory and field quality to improve test coverage, product reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams with a track record of building and developing individuals.
Expertise in Manufacturing Test Development, including defining and implementing both Structural PCBA L6 and Functional PCBA L6 System L10 Test Solutions.
Deep knowledge of Servers and Storage Product architecture, coupled with the ability to provide technical oversight and direction to test development teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries such as Design Engineering and Operations within the New Product Introduction (NPI) test space.
Ability to establish and execute the manufacturing test strategy and technology roadmap for structural and functional testing to ensure product quality and production efficiency across server and storage products.
Experience in driving the definition, planning, development, and scaling of end-to-end test solutions for new server and storage products, ensuring robust test automation and successful expansion of existing test infrastructure.
Experience supporting teams in creating new tests, collaborating on enhancements, and reviewing all manufacturing test plans and documentation.
Ability to define and track key metrics for factory and field quality, and to integrate this data into the existing data infrastructure to drive continuous improvement in test coverage, product reliability, and manufacturing test efficiency.
Willingness and ability to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
