Job Description
The role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure integrations between ServiceNow, AWS, and other enterprise platforms, with a focus on automation, performance, and best practices to support enterprise-wide system communication and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow integrations with enterprise systems, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
- Architect and implement secure, scalable REST, SOAP, and webhook-based integrations using ServiceNow tools.
- Manage and optimize AWS integrations and automations, leveraging AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and S3.
- Build and maintain ServiceNow integrations using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and custom scripting.
- Create and manage data synchronization, Transform Maps, Business Rules, UI Policies, ACLs, and API endpoints.
- Perform testing, deployment, and quality assurance of integrations using tools like ServiceNow ATF, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, investigate root causes, and implement fixes.
- Document integration patterns, API designs, system dependencies, and architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define standards, improve integration reliability, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Ensure security and compliance by implementing secure authentication, authorization, and secrets management practices.
Requirements
- Deep integration expertise with hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing REST, SOAP, webhook, event-driven, and data synchronization integrations, including authentication and token management.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow development, including scripting in JavaScript, creating and managing Transform Maps, data synchronization processes, Business Rules, UI Policies, ACLs, and custom API endpoints.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining ServiceNow integrations using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and custom Script Includes.
- Experience designing secure authentication and authorization flows such as SSO, OAuth 2.0, and JWT for integrated systems.
- Experience managing and maintaining AWS integrations and automations, leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and S3, with a solid understanding of IAM principles, network security, and cost optimization strategies.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub and CI/CD automation tools such as GitHub Actions for automated deployment and testing of integrations.
- Familiarity with integration tools such as Boomi, Reltio, or SnapLogic, and proficiency in using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Postman for designing and executing test plans.
- Experience troubleshooting and investigating root causes of integration issues, and implementing permanent fixes.
- Ability to document integration patterns, API designs, system dependencies, architecture diagrams, and configuration records for ongoing manageability.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor others on integration best practices.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in ensuring high-quality integration solutions across the organization.
- Professional experience managing AWS environments including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, S3, and understanding of IAM, network security, and cost optimization.
- Availability to work onsite at the Prague, Czech Republic office in accordance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
