Job Description
The role involves developing high-quality technical and value-based content for enterprise infrastructure solutions, translating complex technical inputs into clear narratives, and supporting proposal creation to communicate the business value of Pure's offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable, modular written content for enterprise value propositions, proposals, and technical, operational, and commercial documentation.
- Synthesize complex technical, operational, and financial inputs into clear, structured customer narratives that articulate the business value of solutions.
- Create and maintain a global master content library to support scalable proposal creation and ensure content standards and messaging consistency.
- Translate technical, operational, and financial inputs into compelling value narratives and customer-facing content.
- Develop best practice placeholder content for proposals, value propositions, and appendices, ensuring clarity and business value articulation.
- Participate in live proposal engagements to refine content standards and identify reusable content opportunities.
- Contribute to content quality assurance, governance, and structured release management processes.
Requirements
- Strong enterprise infrastructure expertise with demonstrated experience writing about one or more of the following domains: Enterprise storage block, file, object; Compute and virtualization platforms; Hybrid cloud architectures; Data center; Infrastructure operations.
- Ability to confidently engage technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and interpret architectural and operational concepts.
- Experience synthesizing financial concepts into simple narrative form by taking input from SMEs, without necessarily having financial experience.
- Comfort navigating multi-solution portfolios and articulating integrated solution value.
- Exceptional written English skills, with the ability to produce precise, polished, executive-ready content.
- Significant experience writing technical, solution, or value-based content in an enterprise IT environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical, operational, and commercial inputs into clear, customer-facing narratives.
- Experience building reusable, modular content or structured proposal components.
- Strong executive writing skills, including development of compelling summaries and structured appendices.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Services teams.
- Experience independently driving SME engagement, review cycles, and approvals.
- Strong version control, content lifecycle, and revision management discipline.
- Ability to develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, modular written content that enables creation of enterprise-grade value propositions, proposals, and technical, operational, and commercial documentation.
- Ability to translate technical, operational, and financial inputs into clear value narratives and compile inputs from cross-functional SMEs into customer-ready outputs.
- Experience creating persona and industry-aware variations of core narratives where required.
- Experience consuming and adapting existing content such as case studies, product documentation, analyst endorsements, and services materials for structured proposal use.
- Ability to develop best practice placeholder content for value propositions, proactive proposals, and technical, operational, and commercial appendices, ensuring strong narrative flow, clarity, and business value articulation.
- Participation in select live proposal engagements to refine standards and identify reusable content opportunities.
- Contribution of written content for strategic proactive proposals where required.
- Contributing to content standards, QA processes, and structured release management for written content.
- Establishing clear stakeholder communication and approval protocols to ensure all outputs adhere to messaging, quality, and governance requirements.
- Work from the Bangalore office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
