A Salesforce Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and integrating Salesforce solutions with AI and automation features within a financial product team, utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, and APIs to deliver scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Lightning Framework
Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Manage full development lifecycle including design, build, testing, deployment, and support
Implement best practices for Salesforce configuration, security, and performance tuning
Build and support integrations with REST, SOAP APIs, middleware, and external services
Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards
Collaborate with AI team to integrate Python-based services, LLM workflows, and automation features
Requirements
A minimum of 6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Strong proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce platform fundamentals.
Experience designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Lightning Framework.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Experience owning the full development lifecycle including design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
Knowledge of implementing best practices in Salesforce configuration, security, and performance tuning.
Experience building and supporting integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware, and external services.
Understanding of web fundamentals such as HTTP, JSON, and authentication flows.
Experience using DevOps workflows with Git, CI/CD tools, and related processes.
Ability to ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
Partnering with AI teams to integrate Python-based services, LLM workflows, or automation enhancements.
Basic experience with Python for automation or service integration.
Basic understanding of AI Large Language Models (LLMs) and willingness to integrate LLM-powered features.
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, CodeWhisperer, or similar to accelerate development speed and improve code quality.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Salesforce certifications such as PD1 and App Builder are preferred.
