Job Description
This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining reliable and scalable infrastructure tools and services to support global engineering teams, with a focus on automation, system performance, and cloud integration, combining software engineering and systems operations expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain automation frameworks for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Own the end-to-end design, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure features, analyzing performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Develop and integrate custom software solutions with internal back-end systems to support infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system readiness, capacity planning, and adherence to DevOps and SRE best practices.
- Participate in project planning and drive initiatives related to infrastructure modernization and service improvements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar Site Reliability Engineering role.
- Proven software engineering skills with hands-on coding experience in at least one modern programming language, with Go or Python preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, robust implementation, successful delivery, and long-term maintenance of complex software systems.
- Strong infrastructure proficiency, with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and debug enterprise-level environments across compute, networking, and storage layers.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with advanced automation CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Deep experience with containers and container orchestration systems such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving, combined with clear, professional communication skills and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Willingness to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Prague office, in compliance with company policies.
