Job Description
The role involves designing and implementing automated tests for large-scale storage products, ensuring high-quality software delivery through hands-on testing, test automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests throughout the application development lifecycle
- Create, develop, and maintain automated test sets and strategies for various products
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to identify requirements and develop comprehensive testing solutions
- Work closely with Support and Escalation teams to replicate issues and identify root causes
- Identify, analyze, and document defects discovered during automated testing
- Proactively identify test gaps, conduct root cause analysis, and address customer-reported defects
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in software system testing or equivalent.
- Proficiency in system testing with a strong emphasis on end-to-end automation.
- Hands-on experience in automation using Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, or similar programming languages.
- Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Familiarity with VMware, Disaster recovery, and Data protection.
- Familiarity with SAN or NAS storage systems.
- Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.
- Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range: 175,000 - 263,000 USD annually
Work environment: primarily in-office at Santa Clara, CA
