Job Description
A strategic role focused on developing and executing go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling messaging, and enabling sales efforts for Pure Storage's solutions within the Financial Services sector. The position involves market research, content creation, cross-functional collaboration, and industry thought leadership to drive market engagement and customer adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the value proposition for the Financial Services sector.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in Financial Services.
- Develop go-to-market strategies including segmentation, messaging, and sales enablement plans.
- Create compelling content such as solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, and case studies tailored for Financial Services.
- Develop Financial Services-specific demos and solution architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Equip sales teams with knowledge, tools, and resources through training, sales plays, and collateral.
- Partner with Financial Services teams and marketing to execute campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Represent Pure Storage at industry events and customer engagements, evangelizing solutions and sharing success stories.
Requirements
- 7 years of product marketing experience, with a strong focus on enterprise software or hardware solutions.
- Proven experience in the Financial Services market, including banking, hedge funds, insurance, FinTech, understanding its unique compliance requirements, regulatory environments, and solution needs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling and concise messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and compelling narratives.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A collaborative spirit and proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and corporate marketing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including target audience segmentation, messaging, and sales enablement plans tailored for Financial Services.
- Ability to conduct in-depth market research to identify key trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes specific to banking, insurance, capital markets, and FinTech.
- Experience creating engaging and persuasive content such as solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, website copy, sales playbooks, and case studies.
- Ability to develop Financial Services-specific demos and solution architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience delivering enablement focused sales plays, impactful training sessions, and sales collateral to empower sales teams.
- Ability to partner closely with Financial Services teams to capture business priorities and feedback.
- Experience working with Growth Marketing to execute integrated campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives targeting Financial Services.
- Experience representing a company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements focused on Financial Services, evangelizing solutions and sharing customer success stories.
- Willingness to work in an in-office environment at either Santa Clara, CA or New York, NY, in compliance with company policies.
