Job Description
The role involves supporting the design, maintenance, and optimization of CGC's data warehouse and dashboards, primarily using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, to provide analytical insights and operational support for the organization's climate finance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation, monitoring, and enhancement of CGC's data warehouse and data pipelines
- Build, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards to support organizational reporting needs
- Coordinate across FinOps teams and external vendors for dashboard maintenance and reporting
- Provide day-to-day operational support, including scheduling, preparing presentations, and tracking action items
- Assist in documenting meeting outcomes, decisions, and action items
- Manage relationships with data warehouse support vendors, including request coordination and issue escalation
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience supporting data systems, reporting workflows, or analytics functions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and comfort working across both technical and operational domains.
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, data platforms, and evolving reporting or compliance requirements.
- Additional experience with data warehousing concepts, data flows, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and dashboarding tools, particularly Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Ability to document processes, synthesize complex information, and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or other equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting data, reporting, or analytics functions, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
