Job Description
This role involves leading the development and scaling of enterprise storage solutions by designing and overseeing complex distributed systems, building high-performing engineering teams, and driving innovation in hybrid-cloud storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and scale a new engineering organization focused on Fusion platform services
- Own the delivery of complex, high-scale engineering features ensuring security, reliability, and availability
- Define the technical vision and execution roadmap in collaboration with Product Management and Architecture
- Drive operational rigor by refining engineering processes around observability, CI/CD, and incident response
- Mentor technical leads and foster a high-performing engineering culture
- Provide architectural guidance on complex design challenges and influence technical strategy
- Own the full software development lifecycle to deliver reliable, production-ready services
Requirements
- Proven ability to successfully build, scale, and lead high-performing engineering teams, including establishing a new organization from its inception.
- Extensive expertise in large-scale distributed systems and systems software, with deep domain knowledge in storage, data protection, operating systems, or cloud-native infrastructure.
- The technical depth to provide architectural guidance on complex design challenges and effectively influence technical strategy across partner organizations.
- Demonstrated success in owning the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivering production-ready, highly reliable services in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure Storage policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
