Job Description
The role involves strategic sales and relationship management with large enterprise customers and global system integrators to drive revenue growth and promote Pure Storage's data storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sales execution and revenue growth with Global System Integrators (GSIs) in North America.
- Own and deliver regional GSI strategy, including revenue performance and co-sell pipeline creation.
- Build and maintain relationships with GSI CXO, Practice, and Client Partner communities to influence joint strategies.
- Develop and articulate value propositions and business cases aligning Pure's solutions with GSI and customer priorities.
- Establish and refine commercial frameworks and operational plans to ensure scalable partner programs.
- Provide expert negotiation strategies and deal structures to maximize GSI business impact.
- Evangelize Pure Storage solutions to customers, ensuring understanding of value proposition.
- Build and invest in customer relationships to drive satisfaction and business growth.
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers.
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
Requirements
- Experience selling into large Enterprise customers, specifically in Nashville, Tennessee, with a proven track record of consistently delivering 5-10 million USD in revenues per year from outside sales focused on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in strategic sales, alliance management, and enterprise technology business development within the Global System Integrator (GSI) partner landscape.
- Advanced commercial and technical acumen, including success in navigating and structuring complex GSI transactions such as cloud marketplace agreements and cloud migration programs.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to operate independently and drive results with minimal oversight across diverse internal and external senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated competency in data-driven forecasting, business review delivery, and strategic planning, capable of translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support GSI and customer engagements.
- Ability to build and maintain formal executive-level networks across GSI CXO, Practice, and Client Partner communities to influence joint strategies and secure deal-level support.
- Ability to develop and articulate compelling value propositions and business cases that align Pure’s technology solutions with GSI market priorities and end-customer business outcomes.
- Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new Pure Storage customers.
- Proven success in building and investing in customer relationships to establish Pure’s value and drive high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Expertise in leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time.
- Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and positioning Pure Storage solutions effectively.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- A genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges, demonstrating thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset.
- Passion for post-sales customer success and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development in enterprise technology sales.
