The Senior SAP Financials Functional Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA financial systems, including asset accounting and analytics, to enhance global financial reporting, automation, and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and configure SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and ensure integration with General Ledger and Project Systems
Develop and deploy SAP Analytics Cloud models and dashboards for financial insights and predictive analytics
Lead end-to-end SAP deployment projects, including requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, and stabilization
Identify and implement automation within the FI-CO landscape to improve efficiency and compliance
Troubleshoot complex SAP system issues and provide training to finance users
Requirements
Extensive experience in SAP FI-AA configuration, including mastery of chart of depreciation, depreciation keys, and parallel ledger accounting within an S 4HANA environment.
Proven ability to build SAP Analytics Cloud SAC stories and models, with technical proficiency in managing data connectivity between S 4HANA, BW 4HANA, and BTP.
Strong understanding of core SAP FI CO modules GL, AP, AR and their integration points with Project Systems PS and Procurement MM to support capital accounting.
Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders across technical and finance departments.
Experience leading functional workstreams through full-lifecycle SAP deployments, including requirements gathering, functional specification, UAT, and post-go-live stabilization.
Ability to identify and implement automation opportunities within the FI-CO landscape to reduce manual reconciliation, enhance scalability, and ensure compliance with evolving global financial standards.
Experience acting as the primary functional expert for troubleshooting complex SAP system issues and leading specialized training sessions to foster self-sufficiency and high adoption rates within finance organizations.
Ability to work independently as a lead on functional workstreams while fostering a collaborative environment within global, cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara office in accordance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
