Job Description
The Proposal Manager Value Management is responsible for leading the development of compelling proposals and business cases that articulate the measurable business value and ROI of Pure Storage solutions, collaborating with sales, engineering, and value consultants to drive strategic wins and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end enterprise RFx and unsolicited proposals focused on articulating measurable business value.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and value teams to align customer outcomes and key value levers in proposals.
- Create executive summaries, value propositions, and cost-benefit narratives demonstrating economic impact.
- Ensure proposal responses are compliant, differentiated, and adhere to governance standards.
- Convert technical insights and discovery data into persuasive financial and operational outcomes using ROI, TCO, and KPI frameworks.
- Maintain consistency in value messaging across proposals, presentations, and customer briefings.
- Contribute to and manage a library of high-impact, value-based proposal content and case studies.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in proposal management, presales, or value consulting within a technology or consulting organization.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale RFx responses and develop business value narratives for enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of Value Selling, Cash flow ROI modeling, and business case development.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to transform technical inputs into executive-level storytelling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Systems Engineers (SEs), Finance, and Value Management.
- Familiarity with proposal management tools, automation systems, and AI-driven content creation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Bangalore office in compliance with company policies.
