Job Description
The Proposal Manager Value Management is responsible for leading the development of compelling, value-driven proposals and business cases for enterprise solutions, translating technical and commercial inputs into clear narratives that demonstrate ROI and business impact, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end enterprise RFx and unsolicited proposals focusing on articulating measurable business value.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and value teams to align customer outcomes and key value levers in proposals.
- Create executive summaries, value propositions, and cost-benefit narratives demonstrating economic impact.
- Ensure proposal responses are compliant, differentiated, and adhere to governance standards.
- Convert technical insights and discovery data into persuasive financial and operational outcomes using ROI, TCO, and KPI frameworks.
- Maintain consistency in value messaging across proposals, presentations, and customer briefings.
- Contribute to and manage a library of high-impact, value-based proposal content and case studies.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in proposal management, presales, or value consulting within a technology or consulting organization.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale RFx responses and develop business value narratives for enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of Value Selling, Cash flow ROI modeling, and business case development.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to transform technical inputs into executive-level storytelling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Systems Engineers (SEs), Finance, and Value Management.
- Familiarity with proposal management tools, automation systems, and AI-driven content creation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to lead the end-to-end management of typical Enterprise RFx and unsolicited proposals focused on articulating measurable business value.
- Ability to craft executive summaries, value propositions, and cost-benefit narratives that demonstrate the economic impact and cash flow benefits of solutions.
- Ability to ensure proposal responses are fully compliant, differentiated, and align with global best practices and governance standards.
- Ability to partner with Value Consultants to convert discovery insights, data models, and customer priorities into persuasive financial and operational outcomes.
- Capability to translate technical benefits into business impact statements using ROI, TCO, and KPI frameworks.
- Drive consistency in value messaging across proposals, executive decks, and customer briefings.
- Experience working in an in-office environment at the Bangalore office in compliance with company policies.
