Job Description
This role involves leading Product Configuration Management to ensure data integrity and process efficiency across hardware, software, and manufacturing lifecycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize product development and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and govern configuration control standards for product Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation across hardware and software lifecycles.
- Lead the end-to-end Engineering Change Management (ECM) process, coordinating with global teams to ensure timely execution and alignment.
- Optimize the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system by managing workflows, access permissions, and providing user training.
- Conduct data audits and analyze configuration metrics to identify process gaps and implement improvements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in PLM systems and configuration management to drive operational efficiency and data integrity.
Requirements
- Expertise in Product Configuration with deep, practical knowledge of configuration management within a technical environment including hardware, software, or manufacturing, covering all stages of the product lifecycle and complex product structures.
- Hands-on proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Agile, Arena, or Teamcenter, with the ability to define, manage, and audit intricate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change processes (ECO, ECN).
- Experience establishing and governing configuration control standards for all product Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation across hardware and software lifecycles, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to lead the end-to-end Engineering Change Management (ECM) process, coordinating timely execution and alignment between global Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to minimize disruption and accelerate new product introduction.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system by managing workflows, access permissions, and providing training to drive user adoption and operational efficiency.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, proven success in leading, influencing, and collaborating with diverse teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Analytical mindset with experience conducting data audits, interpreting key performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to enhance product development, delivery, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite at the Houston office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

Annual base salary range of $97,000 to $146,000 USD
