Job Description
The Principal Business Systems Analyst for Master Data Management (MDM) is responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of enterprise systems that ensure the accuracy and integrity of core customer, product, and asset data, driving data quality improvements and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex projects to improve data quality, consistency, and accuracy of customer, product, and asset data.
- Design and implement business systems and processes to enforce data governance standards and ensure master data integrity.
- Research and recommend emerging systems trends and technologies to enhance Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce system best practices and translate business needs into system documentation.
- Mentor and guide junior Business Systems Analysts to improve team capabilities in data quality analysis and systems design.
Requirements
- 7 years of professional work experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar relevant role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale system implementations.
- Expertise in data integration within large enterprise systems, with proficient knowledge in Integration and Data technologies such as REST, Open API, SQL, and hands-on experience with Data Profiling.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, using methods like workshops and interviews, to effectively translate complex business needs into clear and actionable system documentation.
- Familiarity with fundamental concepts of Master Data Management (MDM), including entities, hierarchies, reference data taxonomies, survivorship, and stewardship workflows.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems and core business processes such as Accounts, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay basics.
- Familiarity with data tools such as D B Direct or Data Tiles.
- Ability to effectively collaborate across different regions and time zones, particularly with US-based teams, which requires flexibility for late calls to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Prague, Czech Republic office in accordance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
