This role involves designing and presenting storage and data infrastructure solutions to clients, supporting sales efforts, and enabling digital transformation through innovative storage architectures and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop understanding of customer business needs and decision drivers

Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations
Create and deliver technical presentations to customers
Translate customer requirements into innovative storage solutions
Respond to RFI, RFP, and RFQ documents
Identify and pursue new opportunities for interoperability and testing
Produce technical marketing materials and stay current with industry trends
Support the sales of enterprise storage, networking, and cloud solutions
Maintain expertise in storage architectures, protocols, and cloud platforms
Support technical aspects of customer onboarding and solution deployment
Requirements
Pre-sales experience is required.
A minimum of 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client-server and web-based computing solutions.
Prior experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN, Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environment.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.
Experience with installation and configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystem, storage subsystems architecture, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes (k8s), and microservices architectures is a plus.
Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, including On-Premises, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
A BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, AWS well-architected framework, and microservices architecture is a plus.
Curiosity and passion for technology, with the ability to explain and demonstrate new technology platforms and concepts to customers.
Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and their requirements, such as structured databases like SQL and Oracle, is highly desirable.
Ability to work remotely in compliance with company policies, in an primarily in-office environment.
