Job Description

The role involves leading and managing a regional sales team focused on selling data storage solutions to corporate clients, driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performance sales team focused on selling to prospective and existing customers in the SLED space.
  • Design and execute customer engagement strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of inside sales representatives, providing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Hire, interview, and select top talent for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments including sales, technical resources, marketing, and product management.
  • Implement sales enablement programs to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Apply Business Value Selling methodology to improve sales skills and processes.
  • Maintain reporting, dashboards, and metrics to manage and grow the business.
  • Generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives to boost team engagement.
  • Ensure account managers utilize full scope of sales applications and tools.
  • Achieve revenue targets through the activities of the sales team.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience as an inside sales representative.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in front-line inside sales management.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales and performance targets.
  • Experience in smart selection of people able to attract, recruit, and retain top talent.
  • Must have a can-do attitude and an internal strong sense of urgency.
  • Sound and proven business and leadership judgment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Able to manage a business unit strategically through thorough planning and organizing.
  • Bachelor degree in business or finance completed or in process.
  • This role is primarily an in-office environment, requiring work from the Chicago office in compliance with company policies.

Salary range: 82,000 - 123,500 USD annually
