Job Description
The Tax Director - Manufacturing Industry is responsible for leading tax strategies and providing expert guidance to manufacturing clients within a fast-growing CPA and advisory firm, helping clients optimize opportunities while fostering professional growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee manufacturing industry tax planning and compliance strategies.
- Provide technical tax advice and guidance to manufacturing clients.
- Manage and review tax returns, audits, and related documentation for manufacturing companies.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize client financial outcomes.
- Stay current with manufacturing industry tax regulations and legislative changes.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in tax, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
- Have a CPA license or equivalent certification recognized in the United States.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of manufacturing industry-specific tax issues and regulations.
- Show proven expertise in managing and leading tax planning, compliance, and consulting projects for manufacturing clients.
- Possess strong leadership skills to oversee a team of tax professionals and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Have experience in developing and implementing tax strategies that maximize opportunities for manufacturing clients.
- Be capable of working with a high-growth, fast-paced environment and adapting to changing client needs and industry regulations.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws applicable to manufacturing companies.
- Be able to analyze complex tax issues and provide strategic solutions tailored to manufacturing industry clients.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry changes and tax laws.
