The HR Data Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining employee data in Workday, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the employee lifecycle, while providing support and collaborating with various stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide responsive support for employee lifecycle inquiries and transactions such as payroll, benefits, and mobility.
Manage the end-to-end employee data lifecycle in Workday, including processing hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
Serve as a quality checkpoint to ensure employee data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Identify and implement system and process improvements to enhance data quality, efficiency, and automation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure a cohesive data experience and service excellence.
Requirements
Hands-on experience managing employee data in an HCM system like Workday or a comparable platform.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data integrity, accuracy, and a process data-driven mindset.
Familiarity with data governance principles, compliance, privacy standards, and relevant labor laws in respective regions.
Customer-focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships.
Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and work effectively across time zones globally.
