Job Description
The Finance Manager will support the Marketing organization by providing financial analysis, developing planning models, and enhancing reporting processes. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to drive insights and improve financial efficiency within the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of marketing spend planning models and rolling forecasts.
- Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to the Global Events team, providing financial analysis and insights.
- Provide comprehensive monthly close, forecast, and headcount analysis with actionable insights.
- Automate and enhance financial reporting packages using data visualization tools.
- Maintain accuracy in investment and profitability models for data-driven decisions.
- Approve and review purchase requisitions to ensure budget compliance.
- Partner with Marketing Operations and Accounting to improve closing activities.
- Analyze marketing contracts and provide insights to support procurement.
- Develop financial models prioritizing investment ROI and measuring marketing spend efficiency.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to train on financial processes and tools.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), preferably in business-facing roles.
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets and provide executive-ready insights.
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Anaplan, NetSuite, Alteryx, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and adapt quickly to changing demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and positive approach.
