Job Description
The Field Solution Architect (FSA) is a regional technical and business leader responsible for driving strategy, growth, and adoption of virtual workload solutions across the APJ region, partnering with sales, marketing, and ecosystem stakeholders to deliver technical expertise, develop account strategies, and enable workload success.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the business success and drive growth of the assigned workload across the APJ region.
- Develop and execute regional workload business plans with measurable goals.
- Conduct TAM and whitespace analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with sales, SE, marketing, and partners to execute go-to-market strategies.
- Integrate workload strategies into top strategic accounts to drive expansion and workload growth.
- Lead or support strategic pipeline creation through customer meetings, workshops, and architecture reviews.
- Act as the regional subject matter expert for the workload, demonstrating technical mastery and driving technical wins.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical demonstrations, and provide competitive intelligence.
- Build and maintain a technical community and advocate for the workload across partners and the broader ecosystem.
- Lead enablement sessions, workshops, and industry representation to promote workload strategy.
- Participate in regional deal reviews and contribute to solution design for strategic opportunities.
- Maintain accurate opportunity data in SFDC and document customer success stories.
Requirements
- Proven experience diagnosing performance issues and tuning virtualized environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure, Cloud, and Virtualization technologies.
- Experience supporting or designing data architecture for Enterprise Companies.
- Strong technical depth in performance optimization, virtualization, and containerization.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Outstanding content creation, public speaking, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to interact constructively with management, peers, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Experience selling complicated technical solutions to customers.
- Highly motivated, independent, and self-starting work attitude.
- Willingness to promote a culture of collaboration by partnering with solution stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong desire to mentor and coach team members throughout the organization.
- Ability to produce solution collateral such as presentations, short papers, demos, and POCs for customers.
- Fluency in English (preferred).
- Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT or cloud Infrastructure with emphasis on Compute, Storage, Networking, Business Continuity, and Performance (preferred).
- Certifications in VMware, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure (preferred).
- Proven experience working on and leading large transformation projects (preferred).
- Ability to work cooperatively with sales and alliance teams to deliver compelling messaging to engineers, data professionals, and architects within strategic accounts (preferred).
