Job Description
This role involves leading the development and enablement of Analytics AI solutions for the Japan market, including business planning, content creation, customer engagement, and collaborating with sales and product teams to drive adoption and success of Pure Storage's innovative data storage technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the success of Analytics AI solutions use case for Japan, including business planning, market identification, and closing deals.
- Create field-facing solutions content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, demos, and qualification guides.
- Participate in customer-facing activities including calls, demos, POCs, EBCs, and internal strategy sessions.
- Stay informed about advancements in internal product offerings and provide feedback to product management.
- Partner with sales leaders to facilitate communication and feedback between teams.
- Develop and deliver webinars, events, and presentations with internal and external partners.
- Influence solutions roadmap by providing insights based on customer and market feedback.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of Analytics AI landscape, related technologies, and infrastructure components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
- 8 years of Pre-sales experience in IT with Project Management or Project Marketing experience would be good to have
- Strong technical acumen in the Analytics AI space with deep interest and vision for the industry, including understanding of infrastructure servers, networking, storage, etc. that underpins a high performance environment
- Exceptional level of specialized sales with Analytics AI product solution knowledge and a solid understanding of Pure Storage competitive domain in these technologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way to teach partners and customers
- Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs
- Knowledge of the Analytics AI landscape and how they all play together at Pure Storage for a specific customer outcome, including applications such as Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Vertica, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc., and familiarity with Nvidia products, cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP in virtualized or containerized environments
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and follow-through ability
