Job Description
The role involves leading a team of engineers in Bengaluru to develop high-quality software solutions for AI infrastructure, focusing on managing projects throughout the SDLC, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive innovation in data storage technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
- Provide technical direction and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Manage and oversee the entire software development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery.
- Conceive and develop solutions to improve AI infrastructure performance using NAS servers.
- Hire, coach, and lead senior engineers to build a strong engineering team.
- Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on project objectives.
Requirements
- 12 years of combined experience as a software developer and manager
- 3 years of technical management experience while staying hands-on
- 7 years of hands-on software development experience
- Experience in hiring, coaching, and leading a team with senior engineers
- Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the entire SDLC, delivering products to market on schedule, and ensuring feedback loops from customers into the development
- Exposure to one or more of the following areas: distributed systems, systems programming, solving problems at scale
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong business focus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
