Job Description
The EMEA Corporate Events Tradeshow Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing high-profile corporate events and tradeshows across the EMEA region, focusing on stakeholder collaboration, budget management, operational excellence, and data-driven performance optimization to enhance brand presence and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of major EMEA corporate events and tradeshows, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and local market needs
- Manage and reconcile event budgets up to $2 million, optimizing spend and logistics for maximum ROI
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate event activities and timelines
- Oversee all aspects of live event delivery, including venue sourcing, AV, logistics, vendor management, and on-site staffing
- Create and manage event communications, including briefings, run-of-show documents, and attendee communication plans
- Conduct post-event analysis using attendee feedback and engagement metrics to improve future events
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of experience in corporate events or tradeshow management within a global B2B technology environment, with a proven track record of delivering international events for 1,000 attendees.
- Deep knowledge of European event logistics, including vendor networks, venue landscapes, and the cultural nuances required to execute successfully across multiple countries in the EMEA region.
- Advanced proficiency in managing complex, concurrent projects using project management tools such as Asana, with the ability to remain calm and execution-focused under tight deadlines and high-pressure scenarios.
- Advanced level hands-on experience with event technologies such as Cvent, Salesforce, and Google Workspace, to drive operational efficiency and data-driven reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders, customers, and partners across various time zones and functions.
- Ability and willingness to travel 20-30% across the EMEA region and work non-traditional hours as required by the event calendar.
